Our focus is high performance replacement dynamo regulators to control the output of classic vehicle dynamos (d.c. generators). We pride ourselves on being the prime innovators in electronic dynamo regulator design. Our products include the DVR2, DVR3 and DVR4 regulators. The various types are suited to many different motorcycle, car, boat, tractor, generator sets . . . (you name it!) dynamo or dc generator powered electrical systems.

This makes DRL unique among established regulator suppliers (certainly in the UK); the rest are simply stockists. All DRL regulator products are made in the UK. We test every regulator thoroughly prior to dispatch. Be confident purchasing from the experts with in depth expertise in a specialist field. We don't just sell regulator 'units', we know our products inside out.
We are not in a position to give detailed advice for all makes, models and years where our regulators may be appropriate (we hope that sounds reasonable). In the end it is down to the purchaser to select the correct earth polarity, voltage and current rating to suit their rare Vintage or Classic vehicle. Most marques will have their experts with all the information to hand or at least with access to all the handbooks, and these days often accessible on-line. That said we will offer assistance with regulator relevant technical and application information and advice wherever we are able.

We accept payments from this website (by card or PayPal account), by cheque, bank transfer, or cards over the telephone via Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.
Normally our regulator products are available from stock, and are dispatched within one working day (Monday-Friday) of receiving payment. Usually we dispatch using the Royal Mail first class postal service. Customers may add optional postal insurance.

All Dynamo Regulators Ltd products are manufactured to high quality standard. They are guaranteed against manufacturing defects or faults developing in normal use for one year from date of receipt. Our guarantee does not cover damge arising due to incorrect installation. Please read the product descriptions and data-sheets carefully before fitting. If in doubt please employ the services of a qualified auto-electrician.
All products are new and fully tested prior to dispatch. In the event of any problem with a product please contact us before returning the item. We reserve the right to charge a £10 testing and return post fee (UK Royal Mail 1st class post) for items which are found to be working correctly.
If you have purchased an item in error it should be returned in as received condition for refund within 14 days of purchase. Customer to pay their return postage costs and the refund paid may be subject to a 10% handling charge.
Customer order details, names and addresses may be held on record (paper or electronic) for customer support and financial record purposes.
No bank account or other financial details will be held in our files. We do not have sight of any card details entered by purchasers during the website check out process. Card details provided over the telephone are entered into the service providers system and are not stored on our system.
Under no circumstances will customer information be supplied to another party (unless properly requested as required by law).
